Según un sondeo de Maximixe TIC, las medianas y grandes empresas están muy comprometidas con el proceso de transformación digital. "El sector industrial tiene, actualmente, cinco nuevos retos que asumir para iniciar el proceso de transformación, considerando los diversos ejes como cultura y estrategia, visión y estrategia, procesos, modelo de negocios, y servicios y productos", comentó nuestro Director.
Retos
Juan Manuel García Calderón hace especial hincapié en cinco retos que deben asumir las empresas para afrontar la transformación digital:
- La digitalización, que permitirá migrar el uso de hardware y software computacional más eficiente y seguro y generar controles de acceso a la información, promover la cultura de cero papel, entre otros.
- La organización, que permite generar un mejor control en la búsqueda y la trazabilidad de documentos, la reducción de tiempos muertos en el acceso a la información y el uso de herramientas de colaboración en la nube.
- La automatización, el inicio de la digitalización de procesos como ventas, pagos, compras, así como la identificación e inserción del software que ayude a la administración, y el seguimiento y control de las operaciones.
- La optimización, que permitirá un manejo de datos más consistentes para generar procesos eficientes.
- La transformación, que ayudará a consolidar el cambio de una cultura tradicional a una cultura ágil e innovadora. Su utilizará la ciencia de datos para tomar decisiones a partir de modelos descriptivos y predictivos.

La transformación digital, no es una moda sino una necesidad de la industria peruana. En sectores como manufactura y alimentos, no tener información precisa y en tiempo real no va permitir gestionar de forma apropiada ante los cambios y tendencias del mercado.
