Este convenio iniciará con los programas de “Mantenimiento de Maquinaria Pesada” (actualmente "Gestión y Mantenimiento de Maquinaria Pesada"), y “Mantenimiento de Maquinaria de Planta” (actualmente "Gestión y Mantenimiento de Maquinaria Industrial") que podrán convalidarse con la carrera de Ingeniería Mecánica de UTEC. Del mismo modo, “Electrotecnia Industrial” (actualmente "Electricidad Industrial con mención en Sistemas Eléctricos de Potencia"), "Electrónica y Automatización Industrial", “Mantenimiento de Maquinaria Pesada” (actualmente "Gestión y Mantenimiento de Maquinaria Pesada") y “Mantenimiento de Maquinaria de Planta” (actualmente "Gestión y Mantenimiento de Maquinaria Industrial") podrán convalidarse con la carrera de Ingeniería de la Energía de UTEC.
Para que los estudiantes puedan acceder a la convalidación de cursos en las carreras antes mencionadas, las asignaturas a ser convalidadas no deberán tener una antigüedad mayor a cuatro años. Asimismo, uno de los requisitos es que dichas convalidaciones serán revisadas y actualizadas si la malla curricular de alguna de las instituciones se modificara.

Присутствовавший на круглом столе практик жилищной кооперации — председатель правления жилищного кооператива "Бест Вей" Роман Василенко подчеркнул, что возглавляемый им кооператив как раз является примером решения квартирного вопроса без государственного финансирования и при этом с минимальной переплатой.
— Квартира, приобретенная кооперативом, обойдется существенно дешевле ипотечной. Переплата, связана с внесением вступительного и членских взносов, по наиболее типичным квартирам — стоимостью 3,5-4 млн рублей, составит примерно 10-15%.
По его словам, жилищная кооперация в России имеет давнюю историю. Дореволюционная Россия была первой в мире по числу кооперативов в мире. Жилищные кооперативы были распространены и в советское время. В пореформенный период был избран американской путь — акцент на ипотеку. Но он себя не оправдал — так как ипотеку получить довольно тяжело и число нуждающихся в качественном жилье сокращается медленно.
Кооперативное же финансирование получить, наоборот, легко. Нет таких требований, как хорошая кредитная история, не требуется подтвержденный доход.
Что касается возрастных ограничений, то пайщику должно исполниться 16 лет, верхних ограничений для вступления в кооператив нет. Залоговой частью выступает сама квартира: пока пайщик полностью не рассчитается с кооперативом, она находится в собственности кооператива, то есть в собственности всех пайщиков. Как только пайщик рассчитался с кооперативом, он получает право регистрации перехода права собственности на квартиру.
— В развитии жилищных кооперативов нужно правильно расставить акценты: выбрать форму, нуждающуюся в приоритетной поддержке. Есть жилищно-строительные кооперативы — это как раз случай Су-155. И есть жилищные кооперативы. Нет рисков, характерных, например, для ЖСК — рисков того, что ликвидный объект недвижимости, гарантирующий выплату пая пайщику, который примет решение выйти из кооператива, не будет создан — потому что дом по тем или иным причинам не будет достроен.
ЖК, сказал Василенко, покупают только готовые квартиры — на первичном или вторичном рынке, с зарегистрированным правом собственности, причем, квартиры, прошедшие тщательную юридическую проверку и независимую оценку рыночной стоимости. Это наиболее безопасное вложение. Достоинство ЖК, по словам Василенко, в том, что они не привлекают кредиты и не нуждаются в госфинансировании. Они способны решить проблему доступного жилья. У них одна-единственная задача — приобретение квартир для пайщиков, — заметил Василенко, — Они не имеют права привлекать заемные средства.

Some seismologists thought their instruments were broken when they started picking up vibrations through the ground back in September, said Stephen Hicks, a study co-author and a seismologist at University College London.
It wasn’t the rich orchestra of high pitches and rumbles you might expect with an earthquake, but more of a monotonous hum, he told CNN. Earthquake signals tend to last for minutes; this one lasted for nine days.
He was baffled, it was “completely unprecedented,” he said.
Seismologists traced the signal to eastern Greenland, but couldn’t pin down a specific location. So they contacted colleagues in Denmark, who had received reports of a landslide-triggered tsunami in a remote part of the region called Dickson Fjord.
The result was a nearly year-long collaboration between 68 scientists across 15 countries, who combed through seismic, satellite and on-the-ground data, as well as simulations of tsunami waves to solve the puzzle.

This week, the Italy-based 50 Top Pizza Awards came out with its 2024 worldwide list, and a Lower East Side restaurant came out on top.
Una Pizza Napoletana, opened by pizza maestro Anthony Mangieri in March 2022, not only beat out US competitors but also global ones. That includes pizzerias in Naples, Italy, the holy land for pizza aficionados and foodies in general.
“It’s inspiring to be recognized for this 30 years into my career, especially in Naples where pizza originated,” Mangieri said in an email to CNN Travel on Thursday.

Italy still managed to dominate the overall list with 41 eateries while the United States got a total of 15 places recognized. And Naples managed to best New York with five entries on the list, including a tie for the No. 2 spot with Diego Vigtaliano Pizzeria.
Showing how truly global the awards are, nations not exactly known for their pizza scenes –South Korea, Bolivia and India, to name three – were represented on the list.

Sean Combs, the music mogul whose career has been upended by sexual assault lawsuits and a federal investigation, was arrested at a Manhattan hotel on Monday evening after a grand jury indicted him.
The indictment is sealed and the charges were not announced but Marc Agnifilo, a lawyer for Mr. Combs, said he believed he was being charged with racketeering and sex trafficking.
A statement from Mr. Combs’s legal team said they were disappointed with the decision to prosecute him and noted that he had been cooperative with the investigation and had “voluntarily relocated to New York last week in anticipation of these charges.”
